Masterfully crafted with mortise-and-tenon construction, and tongue-and-groove joinery for structural integrity. Kiln-dried wood helps prevent warping, splitting, cracking and developing mildew. Drawers feature English dovetail joinery and waxed wooden glides, which ensure smooth motion. Sturdy half-moon safety stops keep drawers securely in place. Finished by hand in child-safe, water-based paint which provides durability, depth of color and richness to each piece of furniture. Mattress platform is made of 100% solid beech wood in slat-roll for extra strength; do not use with a box spring. Mattress and box spring are sold separately.
